Doxvora Terms of Service
Effective date: July 1, 2026
Provider: Doxvora LLC ("Doxvora," "we," "us," "our"), a Wyoming limited liability company.
Contact: support@doxvora.com
These Terms govern your use of the Doxvora app and the account website at doxvora.com (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
Doxvora is a field documentation tool that helps property inspectors capture observations and generate standards-organized inspection reports. Doxvora is a documentation aid - it is not a substitute for your professional judgment, and it does not perform inspections or provide professional, legal, or compliance advice.
2. Eligibility
The Service is intended for licensed inspectors using it in a professional capacity, who are at least 18 years old. You are responsible for ensuring your use complies with the rules of the Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC) and all applicable law.
3. Accounts
Accounts are created on the web at doxvora.com; the app signs you in. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Notify us at support@doxvora.com of any unauthorized use.
4. Subscriptions, billing, and cancellation
The Service is provided on a paid subscription, billed through our payment provider on the web (not through Apple in-app purchase). Current prices are shown at doxvora.com.
- Monthly plans: you may cancel at any time. Cancellation stops the next monthly charge; your access continues through the end of the current paid month.
- Annual plans: you may cancel at any time. If you cancel before your prepaid year ends, we refund the unused portion using a simple rule: your refund is the annual price you paid, minus our standard monthly rate for each month (or partial month) you had access. For example, cancel three months into an annual term and your refund is the annual price minus three months at the standard monthly rate. If those monthly charges meet or exceed what you paid for the year, no refund is due. Your access ends when the refund is issued. This way the annual discount rewards completing the year, while a genuine early cancellation still returns most of your unused payment.
- You manage or cancel your subscription through the customer billing portal linked from your account.
5. Your content and your responsibilities
- You own your inspection data and reports. We claim no ownership of the content you create.
- You are solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and professional adequacy of your inspections and reports, for delivering reports to your clients, and for compliance with TREC and applicable law. Doxvora standardizes the language of observations you actually made; it does not create observations for you, and you review and adopt all report content as your own professional work product.
- Client information. Reports you create contain personal information about your clients and the properties you inspect. You are responsible for that information and your obligations to your clients; we process it only to provide the Service to you.
- Record retention. You are responsible for retaining your own inspection records as required by TREC and law. Doxvora's report backup is a convenience for recovery, not your official system of record, and may be deleted if you delete your account.
6. License to use the app
Subject to these Terms and your active subscription, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Doxvora app on Apple devices you own or control, for your own professional use. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, resell, or sublicense the app except as permitted by law. Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to your use of the app obtained through the App Store; where it conflicts with these Terms as to app use, these Terms govern the Service except where Apple's terms must control.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service - including no unlawful use, no attempts to break or probe security, no interference with other users, no automated abuse, and no use of the Service to infringe others' rights.
8. Intellectual property
The Doxvora app, website, and underlying software, design, and content are owned by Doxvora LLC and protected by law. These Terms grant you no rights in them except the license in Section 6.
9. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated language will be free of error - you are responsible for reviewing all report content before you deliver or rely on it.
10. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DOXVORA LLC WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM. (This allocation reflects that you are the professional of record and are responsible for your inspections and reports.)
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Doxvora LLC from claims arising out of your inspections, your reports, your use of the Service, your handling of your clients' information, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
12. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for breach of these Terms or misuse. On termination, your license ends and your stored data is handled per the Privacy Policy (including purge on account deletion).
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms; we'll post the updated version here with a new effective date and, for material changes, provide reasonable notice. Continued use after an update means you accept it.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The exclusive venue for disputes is the state and federal courts located in Texas.
